Tekken is better for realism but MK is better for enjoyment and fun.
Plus MK gets more realistic as each game comes out e.g. They've used real life fighting stances and tecniques in MK:DA

I think it's the fact that Mortal Kombat has more of a story and better character backgrounds than those in Tekken. It makes the game more interesting. Plus the fact that fatalities rock and Tekken doesn't have them.

The MK seris is the top. Tekken is great but not as good as MK. Altough i agree Tekken3 was cooler than MK4. I haven't got to play DOA much. And altogh i like the bouncing brest's it's kinda insane that they bounce that much. It's like they gots jello in em. MMMMMMMMM jelo boobies!!

Man they so screwed that up. I have the book witch by the way is called "Eaters of the Dead" They shold have kept that title and followed the book more closly.

As far as fighting systems go,Tekken wins hands down.Even the revamped fighting system of MK: DA is far too limiting when compared to Tekken.
That being said however,I find more enjoyment in MK than Tekken.Its just cheap fun.
But neither is in my top 3 as far as fighting game series go.Those would be Street Fighter,Samurai Shodown and Dead Or Alive respectively.
