I don't have all the MK games and my History of MK isn't the best but what I would like to Know is who are the Characters that are dead and how?
Also most of the MK characters that were not in Deadley Alliance can't be all dead so where are they. All I know is that these lot are all dead:
Lui Kang
Shinnock
Sho Kahn
Goro
Not a Great list that has to be more.
Also what happened to Sub Bosses like Motaro, Kintaro, Chamelon and Khamelon? Have they all been killed?
I can't remeber any of the above

Because no one stays dead. Well, the older Sub Zero most likely will....but you don't know about the others.

motoro is dead because sheeva killed him then released kano the shao kahn killed sheeva. and i think baraka is dead because quan chi killed him in mk gold but i think midway will put him in the next game because he is one of the most popular character unless i am mistaken
