I am pretty sure I pick the right genre, but if not. Like Mortal Kombat Sub-Zero Mythologies, or Mortal Kombat :Special Forces??
If you do (or even if you don't), what kind of storyline would you want, or what kind of charcter would star in it.
And, I know this is technically not about MK6, but both are about thing Midway

this could be a good idea if they got it right. they should have it were you either play as quan chi or scorpion in the netherealm on is trying to escape while the other is trying to catch the other

a true RPG has character statistics, techniques, levels, etc.
mythologies was not an rpg, and i havent played MKSF but im pretty sure that wasnt one either, they were both adventures

RPG has come to be known as what you speak of. But
Role
Playing
Games
Actually go for abunch of different games. Like, Adventure, 3D adventure, the RPG's we think of most of th etime when we think of RPG's. And anythign else that lets you take control of a character on a adventure...
And, I will post my Blaze story, because I think it is better. (Hopes it has not been deleted from his topic at another board) Well, they got deleted.  I have to type them all ou tagain
Mortal Kombat - Blaze Chronicles (sp?)
During the beginning, the FMV is as follows (A few characters, and a whole new realm are made in this story)
Blaze and Flood were walking toward the elemental's temple. As they climbed the steps, they saw a strange guy stealing the temple's orb. He claimed his name to be Shinnok, and that the orb had the power to open portal to new realms. He then opened a portal and jumped through it. Blaze and Flood quickly followed. This is where you take over
Rules of the game. You can play as EITHER Blaze or Flood. Each new realm you go to, you pick whihc one to play as. Your friend can play as the other character, or the computer can. If either die, you must begin over.
You start by droping to the ground. As you look around, you see that you have not disappeared to a new realm, but to another place on Elemensaly (there realm). As you work you rway to a near by town, you find a map. You must use this map of the whole realm, to find a way back to the temple. As you get back, you meet up with thepriest and tell him what has happened. He teaches each of you how to d a normal fire/water ball. He then teaches you how to concentrate, and learn where the orb is. As you do this, your map wil pop up, showing you where Shinnok and the orb is. The priest tells you that the orb has to have a certain amount of time to rejevenate to use it's power if it is held by a non-elemental, but if it is held by a elemental, it powers up very quickly. Now, you must find you way to it before time runs out. Now, as you keep warping to realms, you must get maps, learn how to use different specials to break through obstacles, beat all people blocking you from gettign to Shinnok, and defeat the boss before him.
After a certain amount of realm, you and Flood talk. You realize that you could go on doign this forever. So, you must now either pick Blaze, or Flood. And you each go on a different track. Now, as you reach Shinnok. You wait for you partner to jumpo out and knock the orb out of his grasp. Shinnok then knocks him down. You must then attack, and defeat him. A FMV then shows.
If you are Blaze, it follows
Shinnok pushes you away, and opens a portal. You then tackle him through it, but also knocking the orb out of his hand. You appear on the Pit II bridge. As Shinnok jumps down, a priest then begins fighting you before you can follow Shinnok.
If you are Flood, it follows
Shinnok pushes you away. Shinnok then opens a portal. Blaze then gets up, and tackles him through the portal. You to land on the Pit II bridge. Shinnok jumps down, but a priest begins fighting you before you can follow Shinnok.
Either way this happens next. Flood the picks up the orb. As the orb glows, it returns to full power. A portal then opens, and you find yourself back at the temple. You walk up, and place the orb back in it's spot. You walk down, and tell the priest what happens, and that you two will probably never see Blaze again....
Now, of course, in every realm EXCEPT elemensaly, you must battle multipl epeople to get to the boss, and every where else....
Bah, I will type up Reptile's later. (By the way, this one is not part of the MK tournaments, but Reptile is a story through the tournaments...)

True, none of the MK games yet wer RPGs. They should make one where you could play as good or evil, and you start off as say.... (only an example) Liu Kang for good and Shang Tsung for evil or something, gaining others as you go. However, if it were based around another single character, unless I really liked the character, I wouldn't buy it. The other two weren't really that good. (though MKMSZ was ok.)
