MK3 or MK4? I defentely belive it was MK4. Although MK3 didnt live up to the brilliance of MK1 and 2, I still belive MK3 deserves the title of a great game. I had alot of fun with it. But MK4 was simply dull, boring, and not as good as the first 3 games. All the wrongs have been righted now becoz MKDA is awesome, but what do YOU blame for MK's slide in popularity during that period? or do you think that MK3 and 4 are both great?

personally i like MK4 and MK3 equally but i think it was MK4 mre but the real main downfall for me was MK:Mythologies and Special forces

MK4. Full of glitches, tired old combo system, and boring. I never had fun playing that game.
The only good thing was watching the 3D fatalities.

MK1 = 10/10
MK2 = 9.5/10
MK3 = 9.0/10
MK4 = 8.5/10
MKT = 5/10
MKSF = 6/10
MKM:SZ = 7/10
MK:DA = 8.5/10
As you can see, the Suckiest MK game is MKT Without a Doubt. Trilogy my ass.

yeah they should have done more to make MKT better they should have videoed every other character again and not just johnny cage

I thought mythologies was awful. I have never played special forces, which I'm told is worse.
Out of the proper MK games, MK4 was probably the worst. It wasn't that bad, but most of the new characters were copies of others, or else just crap, and a lot of good ones were got rid of.

I'd say everything after MK2 began its downward spiral. I mean the last incredible MK game before Deadly Alliance was MK2.

Mortal Kombat Triliogy it was just rushed and not thought out properly.
E.g Scorpian Reptile Sub Zero etc all had the same guy playing them.

to me MK3 (and its "upgrades") was the lowest point.They made it too comical,with all those silly fatalities and other assorted finishing moves.MK4 was a step in the right direction,but wasnt completely thought out to its full potential.
Of course the worst was the Mythologies and Special Forces games

You ever play the PC version of MK Trilogy?? or just consoles?

i got tghe PC version and it runs alright on my XP Comp..
but anyway i think that MK3 was quite boring.
ANd MYthology and SF was crap.
