I agree. MK4 was pretty damn shitty. That was the last game of Mortal Kombat I ever played before I got back into it with Deadly Alliance.

I think they woulda been better off making UMK3 the official MK3, and no have bothered making MK3, SM, and special forces. MKT was cool though.

Yeah, mortal kombat 4 was the game that made me hate MK!
Then MKDA came out, and i was very impressed!

I actually liked the ideas of Mytholigies and Special Forces. I thought it was cool that we could learn more about the "side stories". I mean, they do have lives during the off-season of the tournaments.

That's exactly true (if they were real people)! I did kinda like Mythologies...but never played special forces (but everybody is telling me it really sucked)!

What!? I never saw them in the arkade either! They were exclusive to consoles, MK Gold was exclusive to Dreamcast!
