well who knows, Ive always thought it couldnt be true because the fact that everyone would be dead, and others make a equally good point on why they put it in the krypt. Well perhaps its a mix. Perhaps Baraka did die at the hands of Quan Chi and they explained that in the Krypt and they just dropped the part about Quan Chi being ruler supreme and everyone being dead.

I hope Baraka comes back, but he was killed in MK Gold (seriously who had that system?) He was probably the easiet character to control in MK2, and one of my personal favorites. I used to think Mileena was hot back when I was 10, but then she took off the mask and I was freaked out. Still a pain in the ass to fight against, and hopefully she will come back. I never liked MK for the storyline, so who cares if they both died.

I beleive that Baraka shall make a third debut once agian but this time he has his eyes set to kill Quan Chi.

Ive been playing the old games lately and I see that the storyline makes no sense at all. The developers need to realize this and ditch the lame order of events they set the premise for. As much as I like all the games, I play them for the characters and the fighting more than the plot. I'd much rather fight with the old favorites on the next generation consoles than guess who died and who survived and who's related to who. If you disagree with me, dont pay any attention to me. I hate to argue.

I actually agree with you full-heartedly. The endings need to just show what happened to that character and that's the end of it.

I'd love to see Baraka come back, and Mileena should be there with him. I'm suprised there's never been another mutant character in the series.
