gotta tell ou guys this--it depends on whether you mean based on looks, or based on who kicked more ass. I think Moloch edfinately looked the most menacing, but all of them were easy to beat. Though Kintaro took me the longest to come up with a good way to beat him. (I don't know if I told you guys this or not, but I used to make money sitting in the arcade and beating Kintaro for people after they would fail about 10 times or so. He's not hard once you figure out when to use what special moves. I use Johnny Cage, Scorpion, and Liu Kang against him. Sometimes even Sub-Zero. All are effective, but rush moves like the flying kick work best.)

I was talking mainly about looks and story line, not really the ass-kicking factor, i'd say Mortaro or Kintaro was the hardest to beat

Kintaro is so hard...it's just not fair! its ridiculous to give the player only 5 credits in MK2!! I have only beaten Kintaro ONE TIME with Baraka. Even on very easy, he's a pain in the ass. Maybe I just don't know the tactics but this guy is overpowered and way too hard.

Goro is the greatest, even though al the other sub bosses were good 2 he has the best story and their is more homour in beating him in mk1 cuz hes so hard and plus it actually makes you feel like hes the grand champ or watever
The Best Story:
1.Goro (in mk1, mk4 story didnt make sense but still liked he was bak)
2.Moloch ( as easy as he is 2 beat i like that hes part of a clan)
3.Motaro (introduced rivalry between shokan and centaurs)
4.Kintaro (Had a pretty lame story)
Hardest to Beat:
1. MK1 Goro (MK1 was prety hard, mk4 was a joke)
2. Kintaro (He was pretty fukin hard)
3. Motaro (very hard 2, but i found once i bet him the first time was easy)
4. Moloch (so fukin easy on easy but decent on hard)
5. MK4 Goro (that was afukin joke)

goro is the best.
motoaro and moloch were extremely easy to beat. i never played against kintaro but he was just a rip off of goro so he sucks. goro took me a few tries since when i first played mk4 i was a novice. i beat him with liu kang

I voted Goro cuz he had like the best sotryline in MK1 game. Kintaro was a BITCH to kill. Pretty easy on my game gear version. I have still yet to beak MK2 on my genisis. I tried sooo many years ago, failed, and then stopped trying after a couple tries. Haven't played MK2 since.
For me it goes:
Design: Moloch
Kintaro
Goro
Motaro
Story:
Goro (mk1)
Moloch
Kintaro
Mortoro
Motaro was f-in easy to beat. I killed him the second time I faced him. Moloch was a bit hard but once I did it once he was easy.

Kintaro was badass ofcourse, Goro (both MK1 as MK4) bit and were 2 easy. Motaro bit. Moloch is a OK sub-boss, he's just the right difficulty me thinks (though he's 2 easy with reverse moves)
