Post subject: Ultimate mortal combat arcade machine help needed |

Hi everyone, just wondering if anybody can help. I own an arcade machine and have the ultimate mortal combat pcb. Its a six button machine (1 player has 6 buttons, 2 player has 6 buttons) When playing the game only 3 buttons on each of the joysticks work so im unable to do the special moves. I dont think theres anything wrong with the machine so am I missing a connection? or some lead that makes the other 3 buttons work? was there somthing that should have come with the pcb that didn't? any help will be greatly appreciated

Yes i can help, I have the Ultimate MK3 PCB also. What you are missing is called a 'Jamma Harness'. All Arcade machines come standerd with a 28 Pin PCB Connector, which controls up to 3 buttons maximum. You need to wire in the additonal buttons for LK , BL , RN + LP for each player.
If you consault your Manual, it will have the pins on the PCB for each button, you need to run a wire from each pin on the PCB to the corrisponding button.
If you have any trouble, I recomend taking it to an arcade service center, where they could do it for you.
