liked the movie. I was very disappointed on how sheeva looked. The costumes were horrible too. They could of done a much better job IMO

mka was ok. the first was definitley the best. has anyone else noticed that in the movie the only place they mentioned ermac and cyrax's names were in the credits?

I personnelly taught the movie was pretty damn good, maybe not GREAT, but I would go so far as to say it was better then the first one. |

mka was a good movie but, I have to say why did they kill off JohnnyCage.I always thought Johnny gave the movie...it's comedic parts.
Did anybody notice that the actor who played Sindel did a crappy job?

Good points in MKA:
Robin Shou and Talisa Soto reprising their roles
Ermac
Jax vs. Cyrax
Sonya vs. Mileena
Sonya's kiss of death on Cyrax
Sub-Zero vs. Scorpion
Sonya vs. Ermac & Noob, Jax vs. Motaro and Kitana vs. Sindel
Bad points:
James Remar as Rayden *Chris Lambert was much better*
Sandra Hess as Sonya *Bridgette was better, though I will say Sandra is a good actress, but I'd rather see Bridgette Wilson*
Graphics
Jade dies and is a traitor *Jade is supposed to be good and live, Tanya's the traitor*
Rain, Sheeva and Johnny die too quickly and easilly
Rayden and Kahn...brothers? Stupid.
The storyline didn't make a whole lot of sense.

MK:A is a good movie, but the reason most MK fans didn't like it was because it didn't stick to the original storylines. On top of that, everything about the movie was too different from the original, and hardly any of thr original actors returned. Annihilation was more of a quick cash in on the success of the first movie.
It's a good movie itself, and I indeed watch it alot. But on the other hand, as a sequal to the original, it sucked.
I guess you can say the movie has it's fair share of pros and cons.

The acting in MKA made me want to stab my eys out. I actually asked some of my friends the other day if they wanted to watch the first one, and they said "no, let's watch the second one instead." I asked why they would want that, and my one friend said "so that we can laugh at how ridiculously funny it is." Something is wrong there, as the movies shouldn't be funny.

I like how Johnny Cage gets set aside like nothing, that was great. I can't stand that kid. Baraka should of just yelled trick or treat tho. The next one, I have high hopes for. The movie wasn't bad.

Though the only enjoyable thing about the MK movies are the kombatant's fight scenes. Personally my favorite would have to be Scorpion vs. Sub-Zero, Smoke vs. Liu Kang, and Jax, Sonya vs. Cyrax. But the thing that sucked is that some of the fighters lives were lived short like Rain and Sheeva.
