I think it'd be weird if they brought her back. I heard she was killed- but hey! In MK, you can always be revived!

Well they didn't put the Shokan hall of heroes in there for nothing. Maybe Sheeva is on the slate, in which case I'm all the happier. She happens to be my favorite character of MK3 and UMK3. It'll be interesting to see how they'd redesign her costume considering how little there is to work with. 
Besides, Goro's overused and not nearly as hot as everyone seems to think he is.

I suspect we will see Sheeva and Goro at some point in the game probably in the background of the Shokan Palace or cut scenes (if there are any)

Boon said there's not enough time as for putting all the characters people/they want to be in Deadly Alliance, but he added that they'll sure be involved in some way with the stotyline, wich I'm not saying will be Sheeva's case, but maybe few others. So, there's always the posibility characters you thought wouldn't make it will, that will add great things to the development of gameplay.

Yeah we may still see Smoke, Sektor, Rain, Jade and anyone else in character stories such as Kitana's or Sub-Zero's etc

I think goro was only good in MK1, in MK4 he was retarded and he had no point to the story
