It's saying only 7 survied after Shang Tsung was defeated. So goro and Shang Tsung are dead and Reptile is a secret character so he doesnt count. Does any know anything about Ermac being in MK1 the arcade???

I guarantee it was referring to the 7 playable characers in MK1. Although Sub Zero WAS killed by Scorpion. You can only assume that occured in the aftermath of the "official" tournament.

She means she is a real fighter.
But in MK2 movie ( though it had changed much plot from the game ) there was red fighter sonya fought it was I think Ermac. So the movie gave him more reality

As far as the MKII Storyline goes, Goro was 'Apparently Dead' So that would exclude him at the time the game came out. Its not Ermac because he wasnt a real character until Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. and Reptile was secret in the 1st MK so it would make more sense that he carried over to MK2.
or it could possibly be Shang Tsung, Even tho it was his evil plan, he is still a warrior. But i think its reptile.

I agree what TMK said, it's Reptile of course. He failed as the mystery warrior, managing to survive still, so he now belongs with everyone else as the regular fighters.

it was reptile because he turns into the dragon king eventually so he canno die in any of the games so far. he turns into the drago king at the end of MK: DA

I also think it was Reptile. Since Goro was believed to be dead and Reptile was lurking around, (LL=Lurking Lizard) I reckon it have to be him. Ermac was just a error in the game.
The MK Universe is huge, isn΄t it???

MK: Deception will introduce a bunch more charecters to the story also so it will expand ever FURTHER then it already is.
