Just a little fact I want to mention for everyone to think about, you can all try to come up with the answer yourselves. How is it that in the intro of MKDA Raiden summons all the Earth warriors to Shang Tsung's abandoned island used to host the Mortal Kombat tournament when he had control over the tournament, when it is clear that the island was destroyed after Shang Tsung's defeat by Liu Kang mentioned in the comic. (Note: Just to clearify, the island's destruction is explained in the MK II Collectors Edition comic book, and it IS a part of the offical storyline, seeing it was made by John Tobias to explain the beginning of Mortal Kombat II.)

They most likely retconed that story arc about the island exploding, Midway does that alot, so I wouldn't worry about it to much. _________________ You Will Respect The Reck!

And another thing I just remembered!!!!!!
Remember that in Shang Tsung's Island Raiden had NO powers!!!!!!!!
Now that you mention it, it's very odd... lol _________________
