Hey! My name is Dana and I'm from Chicago IL...I just started playing MK again (used to in h.s.) and I have some "dumb girl" questions.
#1- The Konquest...I'm sub-zero (my friends used to call me the female sub-z) and I can't get past one of the combos. Its IMPOSSIBLE!!! HELP!!
#2- Moloch. Easiest way to beat him?
#3- How long does it take to unlock Frost?
And, any other helpful tips?

Hello Dana,
1) Some combos are indeed hard. My only advise would be to do them step by step. If it's a 10 hit combo then start by mastering the first 3 hits, then add the fourth, etc. Then you'll finally get to the top. It's hard to perform a huge combo from the first time and taking it as a whole thing. Try it bit by bit.
2) I usually beat Moloch with Jax by going very cheap with his piston punch special move. But I'm also good with Shang Tsung (using his sword combos) and Scorpion (using some of his combos - they are short but powerfull) and there always is ultra cheap Kitana if you really can't beat him.
3) The koffin IV (Icy Vixen) unlocks Frost and it's inexpensive.

hey dude get really good with someones sword and beat molochs ass with combo's then block right after, you may also be able to jump kick him repeatedly also...thats effective!

Is there an easier (faster) way to obtain coins? Particularly blue and platinum. Thanks.

There are four possible sources of koins:
1) Playing through the Konquest.
2) Many koffins in the Krypt contain koins
3) From VS mode against other player (with his profile).
4) From the fights in arcade mode.
Also, the dfifficulty level matters and determines how much koins you get on arcade mode. The differences are very big actually.
There are two ways only for getting onyx and platinum joins:
1) Through Test Your Might and Test Your Sight minigames.
2) Through VS mode against other player.
If you really feel like cheating, you can create a number of different profiles and then, having earnt a tiny bit of some koins, go on opening different koffins that have koins in them and then collect all the wealth on one profile by fixing the VS fights. So basically:
- You have your main profile (and some koins in it)
- You create say 5 more
- You LOSE several fights to all of the 5 profiles, so they get some koins
- Each of the 5 profiles goes to the Krypt and opens the koffins that contain koins.
- Each of the 5 profiles then LOSES to the main profile giving it all the koins.

Beating Moloch is quite easy with any character, just do a combo with a fast recovery so if he blocks you'll get the chance to block back quickly and counter attack...
Hmm about the MK sites.. well there are many!!

Thank you so much!! Is there any way to get a list of krypt items? Or is that the "coin guide?"
Oh and by the way...I unlocked Frost finally! My friends finally get to see what I would have looked like if I really WAS the female version of Sub-Z.

Okay, now i'm frustrated. How do you use Mokap? I unlocked Mokap and Blaze and I have no idea how to use the secret players...(yeah it says "press down and select Raiden or Cyrax at the same time," but it doesnt work.) Are there only certain times to use them?
