I dont know about anybody here, but I am not digging any of these new characters. Kenshi is cool, but the rest are just lame in my opinion (Especially Moloch/Drahmin). 
Why even add these stupid new characters when you have an old lineup of such bad ass characters?:
Smoke, Noob Saibot, Ermac, Sektor, Goro, (Reptile in old constume next time, please  ), Shao Kahn (makes a better bad guy), Rain, Baraka, Khameleon, Motaro... feel free to add anybody I missed.
THEY KILLED LIU KANG! If anybody should replace him I agree it should be Kung Lao (his alternate costume should be the default [the one where he is wearing the hat]) but still... come on... if you are going to kill Liu Kang then create better characters.
Liking the new engine though. Looks and feels great.
Just had to vent a little.

dont forget stryker, kabal, nightwolf,sheeva and sindel,and ya some of the new characters r just stupid like bo rai cho. and they should of not killed of lui kang he was a mortal kombat legend! i do agree on reptile and how he needs 2 be in his ninja suit same wit smoke. but they shouldnt kill of kung lao either, he da bomb. if they should kill of anyone it should be bo rai cho, or drahmin.

Yea, definately dont get rid of Kung Lao.
But I dont doubt he will probably come back. Midway ressurects everybody.

I agree. They added a bunch of dumbass characters and took away a bunch of awesome ones. Personally I miss Stryker and Baraka.

I dont really like alot of the characters either,  , but they are trying to start new story's with different people! Lets hope some of those story's intersect with some old favorites!!! They do need to kill off bo rai cho though (didnt mean for that to rhyme  ) also lie mei...she just suck bad!!!

Drahmin is crap, I also think mavado is crap.
Some of the new characters are amazing though, a lot of people like Frost, Krenshi is good. Bo rai Cho may be a drunk but he is based on an amazing fighter so i think he is alright
