why oh why is mortal kombat not for the pc??? can someone axplain this stupid idea??? i have no PS 2 or x BOX or a game cube ( LOSER ) i have the GBA with MKDA but they could get a fortune with it if they did itand if it comes when???

um- why the HE77 does everyone always give that damn keyboard excuse- theres so many gamepads for pc with enough controls for the game ANY DAY! they could even include the game with a controller or two that they feel are suited best for the game like acclaim did years ago...

Mortal Kombat is on PC I have the normal 3.5" disk version and the combo CD with MK1 / MK2.

Peterbi is right. MK3 is VERY WELL playable on PC... I play MK3 even beter with a keyboard then I do with a joystick (cuz I played with keyboard so much  )

The reason there's no PC version is actually very simple: Midway made very little money off of their PC versions in the past, so they didn't see a point in making a PC version for MK:DA when past experience has shown that there was a very good chance they wouldn't make enough money on it to justify the investment.

Now that, I agree, is a very good possibilty.
Although I was hoping 2million units sold ($80MILLION in SALES! at average $40 per unit) would make them re-consider and let a 3rd party port the xbox version to PC.... but alas- no MKDA on PC yet... guess they are gonna force the hand of emulators

Well, actually, that IS the official reason. When ]{0MBAT and I went to E3 last year and spoke to Midway, we did ask them about a PC version. That was the reason they gave.
