Just because Kung Lao won the first MK doesn't make him the best. He couldn't even beat Shang Tsung, much less the Emporer himself. But Lui did, so I have to say Kang. You all should start giving Lui Kang his props, he beat a lot of people. He would've beaten Shang in DA, but Quan Chi blind-sided him.

Yea, thing is, we know only so much about the original Kung Lao since he was in the first one only. But Liu Kang has been with us since MK1 and up.
I do think he kicks ass, but I just want to like the Original Kung Lao really bad cause he's so cool. lol
