i will always like 2d fighting games, but i liked how mk took a step up to 3d and showed what it could do , there hasnt been a better 3d fighter thatn deady allience , and you can do pits in 3d they will probly look better in 3d

I agree with that, the stage fatalities will look so damn tight now! They just need to put more detail to fatalities in MK6, also make everybody have more combos and special moves!

Yeah, stage fatalities would be tight, but they would also be different. On the 2D games, since everything was horizontal and flat, it was only a matter of uppercutting your opponent. Now, since things have broadened and expanded, it will be difficult to lure your opponent over to the edge of something and knock him off.

Yeah i agree with that! Lets hope they come up with a way for it to be easier! May be when you put in the command to do a stage falatity, if your not close enough to the "spot" to do it, maybe when you put the command in...the person beats the other up...then knocks them into the right spot! Cool

I find myself talking of this topic too often lately. You rate MKDA good and bad, each with their own views. I love it yet I also believe certain areas could be improved.

But tell me. How do you compare MK? With older MK games? or with other fighting games?

If you say older MK Games, then you should be damned pleased at the fact your playing a game without those old graphics and the old style of fighting by moving left and right only. (except mk4)

If you say another game, then there is no comparison. You cannot compare MKDA with a non MK game. Its like comparing Final Fantasy with Moto GP

Two wholly different games with different attributes.

Now yes MKDA could have been better. Where? well more fatalities as many of you stated. Also the Konquest would of been better without time limit. I don't see a reason why a console game should have time limit. I mean, that's why there are arcades.

Konquest could have a Roleplay Adventure effect. You choose your character and travel around the realms completing missions and unveiling the chosen characters storyline. Unlocking FMV's (Full motion video's) and having alternative endings for all the characters.

Another feature would be to either have all characters active or unlock them by beating the final boss with certain characters. The krypt should remain however.

It would be better to have FMV endings after the final battle like MK4 instead of what they had. (Blind Kenshi's springs to mind.) And they could have added a Kombat Theatre like MK4 to save all the FMV's.

I believe the fighting itself could have been quicker as some characters move slow. The response from the character would be better if it was made a bit quicker.

They could have also done a password recovery item as I have heard many have lost their passwords and there is no way of finding them out.

These are various things which could have been made better or added. Otherwise the game was great and I love it. All games could be better. No game is perfect and no game will ever be perfect. Reason to that is the companies want to eat our money. If they make a perfect game then they believe it would hurt future releases.

I believe if they make a perfect game it would endorse future releases as buyers will say. Hey this company made MK6 and that was perfect in every way. So of coarse I'll buy MK7 cause they make perfect games.

But sadly a perfect game will not be made. Everyone at Midway's MK section has different ideas to add to the game and no matter what there will be those buyers who will still say they do not like it.
