using the joystick is what mortal kombat is made for. No codes, no cheats. And the original is always the best thats why mk1 is the best.
i got 205 wins and 99,999,990 points on MK1 arcade

How can you check your "wins" and character usage on Arcade?O_o
Anyway MK games were always the best on Arcades. Best example is MK3.

Because arcade has better graphics, better sound. Plus just being at an arcade kinda gets you hyped! The only thing i didnt like about arcade fighting games was that damn joystick...i hated those things. I could never play good on the arcade, but when i would play at home or at a friends...i would kick everybodys ass!

you can check out character usage and everything in the arcade you have to be able to open the coin box to be able to access to options menu. And my wins is on the high score rankings. Arcade rocks!

there are like no arkades where i live so i only remember playing like one mk game in the arcade the rest i experienced on a console first

Probably because of the quality and the feeling that you're just playing a game. But for me when I play an arcade game I feel pumped like I gotta win this thing. Plus the speakers are cool too. And I also like how arcades are always dark. It just helps me focus on the game.

I, personaly, like the home versions better. Because it's in your house, better controle (imo), and now a days, arcades graphics are not much better (if at all) better than home systems!

Arcade machines are designed to run the game to the maximum. This causes for crisp graphic with hardly no break up what so ever because the Machine was specifically made for the game.
Home systems have to tell what game your playing and then try to play that at its best but playing too many games on a home system can wear down the integrity and visual of the system.
