Would you appreciate Kintaro in MK6 even if his resurrection will have to be cheesy?

Goro is a lot more "simple" and "kind" to me ... Kintaro looks a lot more, dangerous, vicious, ruthless and evil to me - a killing machine ... Goro is a bit more awkward. MKII was the best (according to the majority) hence Kintaro is considered the best sub-boss ... MKII was the best a lot thanks to him actually.

No, because in MK6 there should be Dragon King and some new sub-boss. Kintaro couldnt fit unless he made some deal with Dragon King and there are several sub-bosses.

Nobody said there has to be only one. Also, they could bring Shao Kahn and associate Kintaro with him. The best thing to do would be a story driven tournament, different for each fighter (or set of fighters).

For example: if you play as Kung Lao and end up challenging Shang Tsung, Kintaro and Shao Kahn. If you're Raiden, then you'd end up challenging Quan Chi and Dragon King, if you're Sub-Zero, you'd possibly fight your way through all the ninjas ending up challenging Scorpion and maybe the previous Lin Kuei Grandmaster, if you're Reptile, then you'd end up challenging Raiden and some other Elder God. The point is that many characters are very loosely related between each other and it would be very natural if they fought opponents that really have to do with their past story (like Kitana is linked to Shao Khan, Shang Tsung and Meleena) and not just the general evil guy. This would hugely add up to replayability of the game. Make several bosses and several sub-boses, both evil and good ones. We're talking about DVD here - there IS enough space for PLENTY of characters ... just matter of trying hard. Back to the point - Kintanro wouldn't be out of place in ONE of possible story lines.

Your not going to play MK6...thats just crazy talk, anyway...Kintaro would fit. Kintaro is half dragon/half human...so it would make perfect sence for him to be a sub-boss for the Dragon King! Cool

That is interesting to have more than one boss, but then the game would be weird! Its probably just one boss.

Here's how I see it: MK has long since converted from a tournament to some weird and abstract "fight against evil". Many characters are not related to each other or related in a very lame way. What they could do in MK6 is make it a story-oriented game and have many stories (as many as characters there are). Each character has his past and SOMETHING that brought him into the fight - so he should stay on that track without the cheesy "... and then he discovered a greater evil beyond that and joined the fight to save humanity! And after the victory there was much rejoycing ... The End".

Let everyone go around his a her business. I've given quite a few examples and fortunately there are MANY storylines in MK universe to create separate stories. C'mon, how lame is it that a bad guy always betrays his master in the end of the game to overthrow him? Shang Tsung has been a traitor quite a few times. Bad guys should fight good guys and vice-versa.

If you're an ultimate bad guy - e.i. Shang Tsung or Quan Chi, then why the hell should you be fighting Dragon King? (Yeah, I know, you can always invent a lame plot telling how there was a conspiracy and DK decided that Shang is too dangerous, etc ...). Let Shang Tsung fight Fujin as sub-boss and then an uber-powerfull elder God to destroy the opposition - now that's what I would call battle between good and evil.

Also, take Hsu Hao for instance (as lame as he is) ... why fight Shang and Quan? Why fight anyone? He should only be fighting people related to Red/Black Dragon and special forces ...

I mean, it's not easy to make such a game, there's need to create many new chars and bosses and sub-bosses never seen before, etc ... but that would actually put MK apart from Tekken and alike. I like MK ... I like characters and style ... but in the core it's exactly the same as other fighters ... why not pioneer?

Also, the effect of different storylines (apart from a much more interesting and engaging and realistic game) would be the replay value. People usually use one or maybe a couple of fighters - this way there will actually be a reason to use all fighters to good degree. Also, you will only have plasure fighting certain chars if they're related to you, i.e. Cyrax should never come across Li Mei on his path.
