Filming is sceduled to start as late as November. The script is still to go through some changes. My sorces say that the Director's And Producers don't want the same mistakes as the last movie and really want to please the fan's.

Meanwhile, filming is rumoured to be finally beginning in November on the third "Mortal Kombat" film and Linden Ashby is already believed to be reprising his role as Johnny Cage - this makes him the fourth original castmember to return (Robin Shou , Talisa Soto and Christopher Lambert being the others).
