I don't know if anyone has noticed, but the whole Dragon King story was pulled out of nowhere. I'm possitive MK creators didn't have this planned, they just needed a new bad guy. But this isnt a bad thing, because maybe its the start of the continuing MK storyline.

Actually the story came form Reptile's ending. And the Dragon King army.

He probably meant that DK came out running to the front only in MK6. There was no mention at all about it in previous MK games.
I liked the whole Shao/Kahn - Shang Tsung + Kintaro = MK tournament a lot more. I bet Boon doesn't even realise what kind of game they with Tobias made in MKII, looking back at it now only raises it's value.
Nowadays, MK has gone too magical for my taste.
