In my MK2 strategy guide it says he is a master of using Smoke bombs to confuse the enemy.

Well, smoke never had any smoke bombs for his moves...so I dont know about that!

ok...only true MK fans would know this one....smoke's "smoke" is to try to distract the enemy...i think i found it out either in one of the MKT pop up things/endings or the MK2 official book thingy

He can turn all molacules of his body into smoke materia, hence he can seek through small holes in a wall, he's the perfect spy!
Sub and Frost acn turn air molocules into ice matter.
Rain has telepathy.
Smoke can turn his matter into smoke molocules.
^^^Lin Kuei ninj'a are chosen at birth for there exceptional powers!
Tis also why he can teleport it's not the same as teleportinglike scorpion does, but it's the only way they can do ti with sprites for the game!
and for his spear, throwing a spear is not magic, it is a skill Scorpion learned, and so Smoke learned also!
