Post subject: The new and the ex MK Bosses |

I wonder what's the oppinion of MK fans. about the bosses in MK. In my oppinion Shao Khan was the best boss of all fighting games. I also liked Shang Tsung but he wasn't a real boss after all, just a slave of Shao Khan. Shinok was a quick project boss and didn't have nothing special. Now in MK:DA Quan Chi and Shang Tsung are way better than Shinok but still worse than Shao Khan. Now in MK6 the biggest possibility is that the Dragon King will be the next boss. What do you think, will he be an original boss or just a simple Shao Khan clone with new outfit?

The Dragon King is not another Shao Kahn thats for sure! But Shao Kahn will come back...sometime!

Midway have said that Shao Kahn may be back in the future. I personally don't beleive the Kahn=Reiko rumours. Reiko is normal sized, and Kahn is quite a bit bigger, plus we've seen official art showing what Kahn's face looks like under the helmet, and it ain't Reiko. Reiko's crap anyway.

I thought Reiko was pretty tight! But your right about the under the helmet thing...Shao Kahn has these little finger type of things on his head...and Reiko has hair.

Hello everyone! you may remember me as Joker, anyway
Here are my random thoughts
Shang Tsung was too easy, Goro owned him and there was a lot of hype surrounding him, he was the champion for 2000 years!
Kintaro was a punk
Shao Kahn was super-badass and the real Boss of mortal kombat, which there will never be another thats badder than him until we geta stroyline about having to fight a REAL badass elder god, not moronic concepts like shinnok.
I liked the shao kahn/ quan chi situation, it seemed more realistic than having an uber hard monster/killing machine on the end.
mollok was huge dissapointment, he was cheap, so you had to be cheaper, which isnt fun

Reiko could as well have been Shao Kahn. According to Reiko´s story he was a General that fell in battle with the Edenians. And after MK3 Shao Kahn took the form of Reiko to keep him from being annihilated by the Earth Warriors.
Shao Kahn was the one that taught Shang Tsung to morph right? Then he should have no problem morphing himself, only that his original form is way more powerful than anyone he can morph into.
Anyway, Shao Kahn was the badass of Bosses

Too bad that the bosses wasn´t playable in the original MKs. (Not counting MKT)
It would have been kool to have seen the bosses do Fatalities.
