I think I am one of the only people who still love the original style MK the best  the new games are very Tekkan-y which I don't really like :'(
I'm looking forward to more Mythologys though.

I don't prefer any MK game "era". They all had and have their good things. And flaws.

I'm kinda the same as you nothing_geined. MK has kinda lost it's original feel to it. I prefered the older era of games. Oh well. I think they should make a Mythologies style game for all the Ninjas! It would be sweet. Except have actual cinematics, and waaay better graphics than MKMythologies Sub-Zero.

yeah, I bet they are secretely making a big box set of Mythologies games with all the ninjas/people with cool storylines, because they love us so much 
haha I couldn't help but laugh at all the FMVs in MKM:Subzero, at first I thought they were mocking the whole martial arts movies with bad vocal sync... But I guess they were being serious.

How much I do love the older MK's, I have 2 admitt that I prefer MK4/Gold solely for the multiplayer... The 2 on 2 battles rock... I really wished they'd included that in MKDA...
But none the less, I really like MKDA, even thou I still have this weakness for older MK games.

Yeah, I agree. MK has lost that old MK feels to it since going 3-D. But, I think they should make MK a little more like tekken (with ground moves and grapples and reversals)

Well, Tekken is an OK game with characters that are definately worth mastering such as King or Jack. But it's WAY too slow. Don't slow down MK.

Trilogy! By the time it came out I was a total MK fiend! Me and my best friend were big MK heads. I remember when he first got Ultimate, though. I was so fucking jealous. MK Trilogy for N64 was dissapointing, though. I thought it would be the same as the PS version, but they took a lot of stuff out. The only thing better about it was that it didnt have to load. So I prefer the PS MKT!
