I think that the return of Liu isn't a bad idea at all. Honestly I'm not too fond of him, but it seems that half of the people don't like him, while the other half do. But since I only see the haters, it only makes me like him more. I mean I really don't see what sucks about him. He has cool moves, and a marketable look. I think that the people who don't like him, only don't because of the sounds he makes, which to me is a --!#$@-- way to base a character. Because that's all he is, a character. But I think that maybe at some point Liu will return in his normal form, maybe not in MK6, but sometime. And him returning as Kano is really bad beacause it seems to comical which MK should stay away from. So as for a return of Liu, I'm up for it.

Liu Kang is F***** awesome! If it weren't for him, then all your favorite characters would be dead! He IS Earth's Champion and mightiest fighter, and he can beat the crap out of Shang Tsung, in his younger version, when he gained more power. He won the tournament, beat Goro, beat Shao Kahn twice, I dont think he killed Shinnok, but BOTTOM LINE Liu Kang should return. And if he doens't its not cause people hate him, its just that hes too badass, and could take on the Dragon King in 5 seconds.

Nothing against you, but you must know this he is not the strongest fighter, like rayden would say " I don't think so ",
Anyway There are a lot of character who were stronger and had better moves but because they were evil they could not logically be the champion.
After some of them turned good they were made in to champions.

Liu Kang could kill the Dragon King with his Dragon animality. That would be hot, to see both dragons fighting. (Liu's animality is the biggest.)

Hmmm, the way I remember it when I played though it is that I didn't use him once, so he did none of those things, maybe Midway said that he did, but in my experiance characters like Sub-Zero and Jax done that kind of thing, so I hope he stays dead so he can stop taking credit for the work of the other hard working kombatants

I really don't hate any character, except for Nightwolf, so I dont really mind when one returns or goes, for that matter. The only exceptions I have are Johnny Cage and, you guessed it, Liu Kang. My favorite characters, I usually used them as a team in MK4, and I always made a point to mastering them both before even selecting another character, in each game. I really hated Liu's story, though. With him winning so often, it got kind of boring. Killing him was probably a good story idea, but I wish they'd just took away his confidence, making him a lesser fighter. Now that he's gone, I'd really like to see him come back as a bad guy (like, thanks to Tsung or something), then get changed back to a good guy, but, of course, with the knowledge that he fought for evil, thus making him hold back as he fought, and with less confidence.
The deal is, everyone's got there own opinion on Liu, and EVERY other character. The only difference is that those that hate him REALLY hate him. He'll probably stay gone, but if you really want him back, just keep posting about it, and Midway may make it happen. They DO read these forums, you know.

I figured it would be fairly obvious--Nightwolf was a Johnny Cage "clone." He was altered and such, but basically the same character, only really, really --!#$@-- looking. Shadow Kick=Shadow Rush/shoulder/whatever. Of course, that's only because Cage is my favorite character, too, because Nightwolf had some uses in the game. I just held a grudge.

Hu ha ha ha ha ha, you make me lough,
Nightwolf is total reverse of jonny bonny cagey.
And for that shadow kick do not you think that shoulder looks more like Shao Kahn type.
Nightwolf looks way better than jonny or liu in the MK3 games.
Do not take it personally but get real and look beyond jonny bonny when talking about Mortal Kombat. ( jonny would be the best if there were any Mad Kow games he he )
