My favorite of all-time is Scorpion, but I got a perfect win streak (i.e. defeating all characters) with Shang Tsung thanks to the help of his Crane fighting style and his Straight Sword, I was able to kill all enemies with Shang Tsung. His soul steal ability and the 3-D fireball attacks helped me immensely with the amounts of damage they dealt when they connected.

...I highly prefer Sektor over Cyrax though at least he was brought back for the Gameboy so I could check out his bio 'n' stuff...
