I have been talking with Math_Inmortal from spanish forums and here is the story:
-I think shao kahn was a priest of the dragon king, he learned how to use sorcery, then he knew about the dragon egg and the possible inmortality of the dragon blood so he killed the dragon king and he took the egg but the loyal priests put in the egg some sorcery so the dragon king would come back, and the warriors in presence when the egg hatches would be the protector so, when the -egg hatched Reptile became the protector and be very powerfull.
-Then shao kahn made an empire and went to edenia and killed Jerrod then he was going to go and take the earth and happened the fight with liu kang and the deadly alliance.
This posible argument explains: -the relation between Reptile and the dragon king, -why did shao kahn know about the dragon egg?, -the mysterious death of the dragon king and how's kahn related to mk6

how do you know shao khan knew about the dragon egg...where did you get the information?
