It's like all mortal kombat people think about is storylines and there favorite characters, but street fighter players care about the strategy behind fighting more.

MK is better than streetfighter. We think about combos and know when to block. Plus the storylines for the characters are quite imortant

I haven't played streetfighter before but i would say that mk fans must be better than streetfighter fans in some ways, we do look at the storylines like you said

Why do "we" have to be better than "them"? I don't get it.

NONO don't get me wrong I think both parties have skills in differnt departments.
But..I guess the better question is.
WHY DONT WE(MK fans) talk about fighting strategy as much?

OK I got it wrong... 
It's sad to say, but this board doesn't have any serious fighting tactics discussion for some reason. MK5 on the other hand has some kick ass fighting tactics for MKDA, and they have an awesome MKDA Tier List.
