What strategy's do you use against computer and human opponents?
MK DA is full of strategy since there are 3 different styles per character.
I rarly waste my time with computer opponents, and mostly play against friends and whatknot.
My main character is Sub-Zero against human opponents, I start off in the early game with either a Cold Shoulder or an Icy Retreat depending on weather if it's a scrub or a skilled player.
After that I switch to Kori Blade if the Cold Shoulder worked I'l go for an impale or a double Stomp Kick , double Back Kick, Close Sweep Combo.
If the Cold Shoulder didn't work I'l stay in Shotokan and keep on retreating throwing Freeze projectiles and blocking, this usualy pisses people off and usualy suckers them in which in that case I usualy do an Ice Shaker change to Dragon do a Neijin , change to Shotokan and combo for 45% damage(the highest combo damage Sub-Zero can do).
If he was impaled by my attempts I'l switch to Dragon do a Neijin, and keep on the defensive, because Sub-Zero doesn't realy have alot of high damage combo's there's no point in risking a Rush Down.
I like to throw in some small Dragon Combo's, to keep it fresh and to keep him off guard.
If my opponet doesn't have any Projectile attacks, i'l do some Ice Shaker's even if i know they will be in affective to get his timing off
And walls are Sub-Zero's best friend becasue of the Cold Shoulder.
You can tick off about 15% of damage if you connect with an Cold Shouklder and he ends up againsta wall.

In mkda i usually play against the omputer. i like to impale my opponent asap. when i ply as quan chi i keep using doom blade. when i plave as li mei or kitanna i like to imale first then use their flieing kicls, punches moves

With Reptile, I'll do a force ball, then uppercut, then combo after the opponent gets up. Another fav of mine is with Rayden, I like doing the combo that ends with the torpedo.

With Hsu Hao...I use the Setting Sun, over and over...and then finish them off with a Kahn's clap. And that usually does not go over well with the opponents...the most common reply is "Thats a cheater Move" and I'm like "You just lost...deal with it Punk."

I use alot of scorpions style branch combos, and it takes major damage of my opponent player or ai.

For Scorpion : Spear, Teleport puch or combo,
For Subzero : Freeze, Clone Subzero
For Noob Saibot : Shadow then hit two times then shadow, also teleport throw and shadow throw
For Nightwolf : Reflection, Arrow and sometimes Dash

i flip flop strategys, i have at least two for all the characters except lei mei, nitara, and hsu hao
those three should all be erased from MK mythology

I really have no strategy. There are a few fighters I find better to fight with but other than that there is really no strategy.

i just learn a set of combos for each character, and try to get them all in in every round, it makes the tedious fights leading up to the bosses in MK:DA a bit more interesting. my best is scorpion, because i'm usually successful with his hapkido and ninja sword combos.

my strategy is to only use the woman, specially towards human opponents because they are not prepared to fight woman so thats why they are the best stra. and also I use the woman for computers because they are the best fighters.
first I always pick SONYA because she has I don't know the talent for being first then as I die I chose every woman, if they have them in the game I'd pick KITANA second, and then MILEENA.........
You can kinda guess what the comps, and humans are gunna do so thats my stra. it's so obvious like the comps everytime they fall and u run up to them they'll grab u or some crap so you throw something as soon as they hit the ground from a long distance like KITANA throw her fans (trilogy) run towards the foe jump in the air.......foe either gets hit or blocks, then after that wuickly throw some more fans and that will hit them then after that quickly do a combo attack......NOTE: u have to have fast hands in order to accomplish this task............
