It's tough, but i'm working it down to a sceince!
I use Human Smoke because I think he's the coolest looking ninja in the game!
nothing taken away form scorpion or sub-Zero i just like his smoke puffs!
The game is espceialy tough because it was rushed and had bad programming...liek old nintendo games..good conept..but hard as fuck because of bad programmming...
And you have to have *some* skill beacuse i repeat THE GAME IS TOUGH!
First off i'd like to say you have to master his 30% combo,( Jumpkick, speer, HP,HP, HK,HK,<-HK.)
To do his speer is back,back, LP
To do his teleprt punch is Down, back, HP
his air throw is *Block in air

For som reason this bitch is tough in all the mortal kombat games MK2, and UMK3, and MKT!
With her throw speers wisly, because she will teleport punch and she has a vertical teleprt punch not a horizontal one!
But I'v learned that if you throw a speer first off, you can dece out teh computer because the computer fights by picking up moves you use often.
If you tap Back back, you can dece her out into t.uppercutting, when she does this block! adn when she fallss back down uppercutt her bitch ass.
When you'v sent her flying from the uppercut ready a speer for her for when she gets up, have that finger close to the block button because she might t.uppercut, and combo you, but if the speer works do the 30%combo!
rince and repeat!
wactch out for her sia throw sometimes you speer cancels it if it connects sometimes it does not!
but i usualy do a tele.punch if she throw s projectiles, even though sometimes she somehow blocks em....
rince and repeat and watch out for her rolls, dont let your block finger wonder keep it close..
if anyone her has any other strategy's post em for characters as long as there detailed, but it must be very hard strategy's anyoen can beet the game on very easy!
EDIT: if your being air juggled, just tap that block real fast for an air through it might not always work, but if your being juggled and thrown around like a rag doll, its your only hope

OK this is mind boggling, you are obviously a newb to the game, so here are several ways to beat the computer with Human Smoke on any difficulty level.
Jump back, attack close to ground, CPU throws projectile, teleport punch, harpoon, LK, (brief brief pause) D+LP, D+HP, the combo breaks, JK, teleport punch, harpoon repeat. If that is too difficult, just jump back, attack, they toss a projectile, teleport punch harpoon, combo, repeat.
For MK1 Kano, who doesn't throw his knife ever, jump back, attack, he will keep walking forward, time a straight up jump punch, into his computer inf, or just a simple combo and repeat.
For any character, get a harpoon to combo anyway you can, after the combo, sweep, they will jump back and run at you right into a harpoon, everytime.
The strat against MK1 Kano also works against all other characters using any character, however, you have to make your timing is right else it will not work. All other CPU characters will run in at you and duck when you are in the air dropping, so hit the air punch start as low to the ground as you can.
You can also get the computer into a jump punch contest, where they will try to beat you out, knock them down, run in to sweep distance, jump straight up and punch over and over, you will get at leasta good 60% before messing up, but it's a legit strat.
