Seventeen thousand years ago, A realm by the name of Azlodes stands in bitter chaos. They are preparing for their Mortal Kombat tournament. They have lost six straight and are desperate for a solution. Azlodes King, Zomdi, sits on his throne.
Zomdi: Call my best fighter!
An hour later, Jekai walks into the throne room.
Jekai: Yes, my master?
Zomdi: You are to be my lead fighter in Mortal Kombat. We cannot lose more tournaments. It may lead to rebellion!
Jekai: Yes, master.
Jekai leaves the room in preperation for the tournament.
Zomdi: May the Elder Gods be with us on this one! We cannot lose to the Realm of Echlon anymore. Three more losses and this realm is history!
