Would Sub-Zero be more popular if he was still an outcast?
If we go back to the history and mythology of Sub-Zero he has the makings of the greatest character in a video game ever.He was taken at birth away from his mother and siblings becasue of his exceptional ability to minipulate air and water vapor into ice and trained by the Lin Kuei clan to hone and perfect his skills into an ice cold killer.
No other character has seen and conquerd so much adversity.
He was hunted by his one time best friend Smoke and his ketchup and mustard rivals Sektor and Cyrax after he refused to be automated into a souless assasin.
He faced them during Shao Kahns attempt to take earthrealm by force a great battle ensued from what I can put together the triple threat of assasins chased him from an underground subway station and made it above grounds where a fierce battle commenced during the battle his friend Smoke somehow rememberd he was once Sub-Zero's friend and turned against Sektor and Cyrax. Sektor was defeated and evidence would show that he was not killed but retreated to Japan to start his new clan, Cyrax on the other hand was re-programmed by Sub-Zero and Smoke to go after Kahn but instead Kahn was defeated by the earthwarrior Liu Kang before he even got close to him and so Cyrax's emergence protocal was initiated and he began to travel a straight line towards the Lin Kuei base of operations in northern China. But something happend to Cyrax on his journey and he was trapped in a vast desert instead.
And if three assasin robots were not enough he also had to deal with his old rival Scorpion who had bean slayed by Sub-Zero's older sibling and sent to hell, Scorpion had bean resurected onto earth not good not evil, a ninja spectre who's purpose was to anenge his death.
But that's not all Scorpion also wrongfully thaught that Sub-Zero was responsible for his family's death as well.
The two warriors faced off during Quan Chi's and Shinook's second war agianst Raiden.
During the battle Scorpion found out that it was the sourcerer Quan Chi who murderd his family not Sub-Zero.
Quan Chi was about to open a portal and send back Scorpion into hell but Scorpion grappled with the sorcerer and they both ended up in hell.
Sub-Zero earned his friend Smoke back, defeated Cyrax and Sektor and was no longer being hunted by his rival Scorpion anymore. So my question is should Sub-Zero have reformed the Lin Kuei or remained a spectre like Scorpion.
I think he would of bean much cooler as far as character development went if he did not take back the Lin Kuei.

it wouldnt make a fuken difference ppl like characters because of their moves ,sotyline,originality ETC not because of who they associate with

i like sub zero back in the lin kuei but the new lin kuei seems kinda like a joke bcuz their was only 2 people and now hes alone and plus i dunno lol mayb he cudve been better off by himself and mainly fighting sektor but i dunno if he cud sum how get cyrax and smoke to come back into the lin kuei that wud be awesome
