Whoops..
Sorry for the edit above. I didn't want to make it seem like I was bashing MK5.org, in particular, and I thought that I could get in the edit before anyone replied... 
Although I've seen people being flamed there for no real reason...
But back to the topic at hand.
What do you think of the new looks for the returning ladies, and what king kind of style(s) or weapons would you ike any incoming lasses to use?

I want an Arab woman in the game.Arabs in fighting games are too rare.The only fighting game(i know)with Arabs is Mace:the dark ages.

She was really cool. Not to mention the fastest character in that game. I've been playing Mace recently on my N64, and I can barely get in a hit against her before she starts smacking her around. Not bad for harem girl..
An Arabian girl would be a nice change from all the ninjas.
(Speaking of which, can Kitana,Jade, and Mileena ve really considered ninja, ore the really just highly skilled assiasins? Just a thought...)

Namira(not sure how to spell her name) was my favorite fighter in Mace.I wish she didn't have a mask though.If there was an arab woman,it should be her story(i don't know what her name should be)
The Taliban,those sexist,barbaric pieces of shits,learn of the deadly alliance.They join the sorcerers so they get to rule the entire Earth as well as edenia.An arab woman learn of this and go on a personal mission to kill the Taliban and the sorcerers.She isn't good nor evil.Like Scorpion and Blind Kenshi,she's neutral(she's on nobody's side).You could fight an unplayable Taliban(who would want to be a Taliban anyway?).

I actually thought it cool in Mace, that your opponent didn't immediately spring up after being knocked down by that final hit and politely wait to be brutally murdered. Performing a fatality took a little extra work since you had to make sure your last hit wasn't a knockdown.
The Executions were for the most part cool, too...
Stryker 666: Interssting story idea, but I don't think mixing in real world events into a fantasy storyline like Mortal Kombat would be a good idea.
I guess your character would just have to be satisfied with saving reality as we know it from a couple of really evil men...

I am getting repetitive with this but i got a question for you ZulaMK.Would you like a black woman in the game?I do.Enough with Sonya,Give Jax a new hot woman as partner.A partner who isn't a tomboy mad at poor Kano.
I'd like to see Khameleon in her real form.She should still wear that tight silver outfit.
Not only MK need more womens,i think a woman should be the new main character.Li Mei would be good as a main character.

I wouldn't mind seeing another black woman in the lineup. Actually I wouldn't mind seeing another black (or non caucasian or non asian) character in the game.(I'm not abig fan of Jax's current incarnation :evil: ) That's why I'm a bit disappointed that Kai didn't make it throgh to MK5. I guess he's still on the quest of his from the end of MK4. Either that, or he's simply smart enough to avoid getting into situations (like Mortal Kombat tournaments) that would lead to him facing down psychos like Dhramin and Scorpion.
Liu Kang was ok as the 'hero' of the tournament, but the fact of the matter was he was always overshadowed by Scorpion and Sub Zero.
I wouldn't mind seeing Li Mei taake Liu Kangs place and role in the MK lineup, but it looks like it'll Sub Zero who'll be the Marquee character in this game. 
(An aside: I think Mortal Kombat is the first fighting game series where the nominal 'main' character, in this case Liu Kang, has been so completely overshadowed and displaced by a secondary character)
As for Kahmelion, I'vr never thought of her as very interesting story-wise. From a gameplay standpoint she an Chamelion were cool in the same way that Mokujin from Tekkin was, a character for more skilled players to give themselves a challenge.

I guess I'm the only person who
likes Sonya around here... I prefered
her MK1 look to her MK3-MKT look,
though. I wouldn't mind seeing a
black woman in the game, either.
BTW, why does Jax have a beret now?
He's not French! I wish they'd get
rid of the metal arms, too. Bring
back MK2 Jax!

Ok,i think i'm gonna give Sonya a chance.In MK1,she was introduced so she was ok.She wasn't playable in MK2.In MK3 she came back.She was still ok.She was very sexy.In MK4 she started to become boring.She seem to be there just to hunt down black dragon members.And plus she is too much of a tomboy.I don't like womens who act manly.In MK:DA,Sonya doesn't look that great imo.Li Mei and Frost are much more interesting.But i'll play as her(Sonya).Her story better be something new.She should have her MK3 look as an alternate outfit.She looked ok in MK special forces(before she was removed,that is).
And as for Jax,I like his look.He remind me of Rambo and Duke Nukem.But the berret is not needed.I hope you can knock it around.Lol.And since we're speaking of black people,is Drahmin black?

You're not the only one who likes Sonya. I actually like her more than the female 'ninjas'. I haven't seen enough of her current incarnation to really form an opinion, but I l know I like it more than Jax right now. With his oversized metal arms (I never likwd the metal, but they I found them tolerable in MK4) his beret and his shaded, he looks more like a thug, or a death squad goon, than a soldier. 
I hope the designers make up for this by givung him a decent alternate look.
And of course bringing back Sheeva. :mrgreen:
