In MK4 when you try to see a move list the hidden characters (which you have to unlock) list shows "TOP SECRET", I hope you have seen that, or do you even argue about that. Just try to prove me wrong here and just tell me when did they (MIDWAY) make Subzero's icewand freezing official even though a lot of people now knows because it is an old game now. ( I accidentally found the move ) _________________

Man Sher, you have some lame arguments.
In MK 1 to 3 there was no move-list, does this make all moves secret? NO!
The Wand-freeze sucks, it's not hard to do, it's a standard move IT'S EVEN IN THE DAMN MOVELIST!!!
Plz leave this thread alone. _________________ _________________

GOD DAMNIT this is mind boggling.
That IS the fast arrow, don't say it isn't because it is. It is IMPOSSIBLE to do a normal arrow in that combo and make the arrow combo. IMPOSSIBLE. Do you hear me? IMPOSSIBLE. Impossible. Anywway you did the fast arrow so you can stop pretending you didn't.
Ninja, you're a childlike mark with absolutely no grasp on reality.
You still have yet to present a hidden move. _________________ www.ultimatemk.com - your source for UMK3 competition.

Wow Total-MK, I have to admit its kind of sad that you would argue thats the slow arrow. I mean, have you looked at a slow arrow lately? Seriously, you would see the difference if you looked. This isn't a subtle variation. You just looked at the koolaid man and said "He's skinny." _________________ UltimateMK.com - The ULTIMATE Source of Kompetitive Mortal Kombat Information

excuse me?
of course I know how fast the arrow is, compared to a fast arrow (shooting when they are up the edge of the screen) in the combo it IS slower.

So you are saying there is a regular arrow, a fast arrow if you shoot the arrow more then once from full screen distance and another kinda fast arrow for in combos?
EDIT: I just went back and looked again and its so obvious that the comboed arrow is the fast arrow as opposed to the slow arrow. I guess you just don't see it. _________________ UltimateMK.com - The ULTIMATE Source of Kompetitive Mortal Kombat Information

TMK, like I said on IRC, that combo is impossible in MK3, where only the slow arrow exists. I'm not slow, it's just not possible to connect it, as it comes out too damn slow.
I guess you need to chalk it as a loss. _________________ _________________

Correzzio, it is possible to get it in MK3, it's just that it'll connect on one of the very last possible frames. Here is a video that DreemerNJ made last night showing them side by side. And also here is the technical data behind it.
http://www.darktemplarz.com/umk3/compare.avi
In MK3, when you do an arrow, no matter what, it is the same speed going horizontally across the screen, and the same start up animation speed as well.
The frame data for the bow pull back, up until the first frame of horizontal movement is 5 frames of animation for the formation, and pull back of the bow. So that's again, 5 frames of drawn animation, then on the 6th, the arrow starts to move across the screen.
In UMK3, the arrow moves across the screen, no matter when you do it, at the same speed, whether it's the fast arrow, or the normal arrow, in a combo, or shot raw, and it is an illusion that the arrow actually moves fast because the start up animation for Nightwolf's bow is not only faster, but it lasts 2 drawn frames, in any situation when the arrow will come out fast. So here it is again:
MK3:
Regular arrow 5 frames, .375 seconds to travel across the screen once the arrow is at full length and is just released from the bow.
UMK3:
Regular arrow 5 frames, .375 seconds to travel across the screen once the arrow is at full length and is just released from the bow.
Fast arrow 2 frames, .375 seconds to travel across the screen once the arrow is at full length and is just released from the bow.
And one more time in the most raw form I can come up with.
Action-----Time Index
start----------.458
hit-------------.833
difference of .375
start----------.333
hit-------------.708
difference of .375 _________________ www.ultimatemk.com - your source for UMK3 competition.

There's no hidden character or move in any game that wasn't published by a magazine. You do not understand that. And things like "Top Secret" put in a move list for a hidden character is just drama, something designed for people like you to feel good about themselves if they by chance find out something that they hadn't heard about previously. You're a mark, plain and simple, and you need to grow up real fast.
The reason I go to such lengths to prove things is because when I say something, I don't say it without a reason, and when people tell me otherwise and won't give up, it motivates me to make sure they understand the error of their ways. Most classic MK boards are out and out sad. This one, is no different. There's no one who will put people in their place who run the boards, so it's up to others to do it for them.
Stop making up things, play the games, and have fun. IF you have a legit question, post it, but don't tell us down to earth people that you've found moves in ANY classic game that no one else knew about, or wasn't ever published in a magazine. Either say something worthy of the bandwidth it uses, or don't say anything at all.
I'm STILL waiting for these secret moves for Kano that dance like sugar plums in my head while I'm sleeping. I still haven't heard about a single one. I'm tired of your nonsense.

Well I know this secret is open secret but I am telling you something about official top secret (that was funny eh, officially secret but actually open), about that move I just heard the rumor and I did not commit and was just wondering about it; If I knew everything would I ask? By the way Midway had its way of amusing people, one of which is by giving surprise ( it was a probe acclaim game first ), so I thought that rumor just might have been possible, but then again if it were everyone would know about it as one knows one shares. About playing games I played MKT about numerous times ( was writing thousands time ) and finished it with all characters ( well seen the endings of all chars that is ), I also tried about rumour but as it did not work out so I asked for others help if they knew something and you call me liar for that!!! I did not even make a strong statement about this. Oops I am repeating. So let us just forget about those things and next time I am trying Ed Boon if there is any question like this. But I still do not know how can I get that close to him to ask something like that? _________________
