Violater- well done on winning that little argument with MKfreak. You proved the real story. The murders were not committed in Texas and there was no such fuckin thing as leatherface. However MKfreak was right to believe what he did as there really is a lot of rumours going around about that film. I heard it was banned for a while! TRUE??

I saw the newest version of this movie with my cousin and she was screaming for quite a bit of the movie. I dont know much about the "real" killings but if it was like the movie then damn it would have been scary, but in the movie leatherface was like unkillable, a complete monster and im sure that if an average guy with a chainsaw came after me id sure as hell kill him first!
chainsaw massacre was a good movie i though

You have to see the original dude. It is the best. I haven't seen the new version but I dont think it would be as good. The murders were awesome in the movie. However I agree in saying that a typical grown man with a chainsaw could not be as terrifying as the characters in the film made him out to be.

I thought the new one was better. Leatherface looked alot freakier (even shows him without the mask) The deaths (or tortures) looked really painful and made you cringe (especially the guy on the hook)...

Definetely agreed! However if your one of those people who like gore, this is the movie to watch. the new version sounds scary. i would hate to see that leatherface dude without his mask.
