Is that correct???
That would suck.
Especially when you think, that a X-BOX is only a Pentium 733 with a GeForce3 and without Keyboard & Mouse...
I want to play that on a really fast machine, not a console...

Consoles are better to play games on, and as far as I know they are not going to make a pc version.

thy should have, they made other mk games on pc, but i think they are too late to put mkda on pc

Due to all the piracy on the PC market, Midway decided not to make a PC version of MK:DA. I agree, it sucks...I would love to see a PC version of MK:Deception hopefully, considering they are boasting its online.

It just seems to me that pc games tend to screw up alot more than console games.

dude you have that backward.
lets see you apply a patch to a PS2 / XBOX / GBA / GC when a glicth is found in the game 
Thats what makes PC so awesome, its totaly versatile.

There is glitches on the console versions but thats whats games are mainly made for, its alot easier to play on consoles. (atleast to me)
Thats the only good thing about comp. games, you can install a patch and add something or fix something.

First: fighting games on PC suck big time, just like RTS games on consoles.
Second: console games are a lot better ironed out before release. And it's precisely the attitude "we can always make a patch" that makes PC games have a lower quality.
Third: in MAJORITY of cases, people BUY console games. Can't say the same for PC games -> Not as much profit as you may think.
Fourth: That PIII 700 along with nVidia GeForce 3 may be put together in a much better way to play games than you can imagine, being competetive with many higher-end PC's.
Fifth: you have a DVD for consoles and a CD for PC -> less storage space for the game.
To sum the things up: not much point in making a PC version.

Well, I think the RPG genre both suit consoles and pc's.

firstly: That is your opinion, its a matter of getting a good setup to enjoy fighting games on PC.
secondly: This is backwards agian, consoles are fixed hardware... most of the time they can get the game out before the PC versions and not worry about software conflicts. With PC versions they have to test alot of differant aspects of the game, making sure its very compatible. They never release a game on PC with the "we can always make a patch" attitude because it hurts the game release more than you would know.
thirdly: You are correct, Console games sell more than PC due to piracy issues.
fourth: Yes, its a good hardware combination for consoles....no WAY is it better than higher end PCs.
fifth: My PC has had a DVD drive for the last 5 years (before any consoles had a DVD drive too, I might add). same with all my friends.
As I said, PC is alot more versatile, console versions are great...but PC will always outweigh consoles in the 'online games' and 'graphic hardware peformance' department. MK: Deception belongs on PC with the console versions.

I can't see, why the same game would suck on one computer/console and be good on another...
Console games sell better, ok, but there's also software piracy. There are a lots of filesharing networks, where you can download every single x-box game... and the number of people who actually download the games rather than buying them is increasing...

I havent attempted to pirate xbox games, cause I have no dvd burner and all of you know (atleast you should) that xbox games are dvd format, and the good thing about ps2 is that some games are compact discs format. So with the awsome guide I modded my ps2...........and look what I got aliens vs predator exstiction. Btw, the only time I played mk on my comp is with mame, but if I had a controller for my comp I would definatly buy.........if and when it comes out. But there are awsome game serises for comp that havent came on the consoles, witch is Warcraft 3 Reign of Chaos, Everquest, Starcraft and more but I dont have time I have to go to school.

I heard that a software named bleam could help in this condition for ones with PC only but never tried it out myself.
Well I play fighting games best at computer because I feel I could response faster with keyboard, or it just might be only a habbit.

Why Deadly Alliance and Deception were not released for PC? I am very frustrated that i can't play these games...and i guess so are hundreds of thousand mk fans worldwide..Not everyone has the money for a console...
Ps2 emulation is still at the beginning it will be long untill it is fully working and even if it does i guess the system req will be huge.A pc version would require less resources..
Can't anything be done for Midway to release them on pc (maybe a DA and D double dvd->fans&collector's edition something like that)
If the mk fans worldwide would make a petition or something and even express they wish to order the pc version of the games do you think Midway will re-consider?
I agree there is a lot of piracy for PC games but isn't it the same for ps2 or xbox?10 minutes using Nero and theres your ps2/xbox dvd copy...
After all their main interest should be to make the game as popular as possible..release it on every system ..That's how they did with the classic mk games and they were a huge succes
It's time for Midway to do smth for us the fans..we who supported the game from 1993 till now,we who bought raiden hats and mk t-shirts,we who watched the movies in the cinemas, we who filled the arcade machines with coins ..WE WHO MADE THEM RICH!! Do it for us and not for the money!
