i havent played MK5:DA yet i dont have a ps2, gamecube, or xbox to play it on but baraka was one of the characters that i used the most in the sega genesis and super nintendo games. his brutality in mk trilogy was pretty cool.
just preview his blade hang fatality in 3d now that would be pretty sweet.

Mileena was supposed to be dead twice by now and Baraka once. I don't see why they can't find a good explanation of how Kabal and Kano survived. Besides, those two are really the real survivors of this series anyways.

It would be easy to bring kabal back. Just say Mavado beat the shit out of him, and left him (wherever they were) thinking he was dead...

I thought it already said that Mavado killed Kabal and took his Hookswords.
I wanna see Kabal back, I think he had potential, but wasn't given a chance to shine

he did that to Kesnshi so that would be posible, plus there is something about kebal's helmet keeping him alive, if mavado did not remove it, kebal would definately have recovered, i hope to see him in the next game aswell.

Yeah, unless he just chopped kabals little head off, then it would be a bit trickier to bring him back...

Whoa, I've been gone for quite awhile now huh... I didn't have any idea that there was another MK in the making but I'm glad I came back to see my main man Baraka is going to return... I've just been so freakin' busy w/ my online gaming clan and some other stuff I have in the works for Unreal Tournament 2004 that I forgot all about this forum. I still can't believe that I've been gone for over 9 months now and everything has changed so much... and now with this news of a new MK I might be staying for awhile

Kabal is back now which is really good news. I too wonder how they are going to make Baraka's moves since his blades are out all the time. Maybe it will have to be like Drahmin's moves which involve the club all in all three modes. Mileena looks awesome and can't wait to beat it, I MEAN, beat her in the game.
I wonder why Mavado is the leader of an assasin clan if he's such a crappy assasin himself. He supposedly killed Kabal, but he's back. He suppossedly killed Kenshi, but he survived. Now he suppossedly killed Kano. I wouldn't be surprised to find him back. Mavado sucks because he's soo lame at finishing the job!

I dont think they will be out all the time. They will just be his weapon style, and when you exit his weapon style they could retract. It would make more sense and it wouldnt be hard to create...
