I haven't seen any landmarks to go by. I always claimed it was NYC because I'm a native New Yorker.

It probably took place in Chicago lol...yeah that's weird though, maybe it's just some ficticious city.
Don't feel bad Sektor, virtually all Classic MK boards are dead, I hate it. Either dead or no one has anything reasonably interesting to say, this was, but likewise, I had no answer to give, serious or comical, now I do. I use to try and post things like the kombo videos on the general sections of MK boards because I want the whole available MK community to be able to see them, not just the classic hardcore fans, but the classic sections get practically zero attention, and they always get locked in the general threads. I know they will, but it's pretty annoying still. A couple MK boards made my kombo video threads into stickies because they are that damn good.

It actually is New York City. I can't remember the name of the level since it's been a long ass time since I've palyed MK3, but on the level you get to when you get uppercutted through the roof of The Bank {Maybe it was called The Rooftop or something}, you see the Empire State Building on the right hand side.
