ATND: you need to look agian
The bloody popcorn effect was on the spinning columns because it would splatter out as they spun around, if you look at the Blade Swipe that Baraka does on Mileena...the blood effect is totaly differant.

I've looked again:
Baraka's blade swipe is CG. 
I've looked again:
The only real in-game fragment is Scorpions fatality. Now you look again, when the body parts ... or rather pieces, come out flying of the machine and fall down into the pool of blood they look exactly like "bloody popcorn".

Well, people got over it and have "forgiven" MKDA for it (though in part, the fatalities looked crap because of the "bloody popcorn"). But what was bareably but acceptable in MKDA will be really lame in MKD. Time passes, standards change.

I know its CG you can see the bars that tell me its a FMV Clip.
But its still a blood effect, I saw the 'popcorn' you are talking about...the body peices, I think its fine. It's a bit early to judge it but.

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy with Baraka's swipe, it looks great, but it's not in-game graphics unfortunately. 
Body pieces are in-game and are exactly that - round, delicious, reddish popcorn, yummie! - Yes, but nice to look at? - Not really.
On a side note: do you remember Baraka's swipe from MK2? Maybe my memory gives it an idealistic appearance, but it looked quite nice back then.

Well if Nightwolf is back, then it is going to be a big storyline brought with him. I can remember he had a very good storyline in the MK3 game.
If that is Subzeo then I must say they have not done good by making him shreddery.
I think it is Scorpion again who is going to be Champion, wonder was he really sent to netherealm again ( a different kind off netherealm ).

Ive seen every ending in MK4 and I still dont know what your talking about...some of those endings didnt really happen...

Well most of them did an here is a sequence =
Quanchi killed Shinnok and become the first boss.
Scorpion took Quanchi netherealm with him and thus removing the main boss with him and thus becoming the champion.
I beleive Scorpion would crash him if Quanchi would challenge Scorpion directly.

Liu Kang defeated Shinnok in MK4.
Scorpion did take Quan Chi to the netherealm, but he didnt win the tournament.

Well all the movies in the mk4 are related and none of the movies suggested that liu did that.
Quan Chi killed shinnok with the medallion's( or something) help, you can read mk:da history and learn that what I am saying is true.
