Alright. We have talked about the pics and 'new' fighters to death. Hows about we talk about what the 'narrator' is saying.

Now, let me say this; the game seems to have a focus on Baraka. Why? We have yet to find out. I say this because the glowing eyes from the trailer are Baraka's (look closer and you can see the teeth). However, I could be wrong.
There are 2 things I got from this. One: All the talk about the Dragon King might end. The game doesn't seem to mention any info related to the Dragon King. The Dragon King DOESN'T hide in the 'shadows' from what we know. One, he is dead (could be brought back to life) and two, even when he was alive he made his presence known, a la the "undefeatable army". So could MK6 take the less obvious route and not continue the story of the Dragon King from MKDA? Time will tell.
Second: “Using the trust and loyalty of an ally”. Deadly Alliance ring a bell anyone? This is perhaps the most obvious of the whole speech. If MK Deception does continue where MKDA left off then we can be sure that the deadly alliance is no more. Shang Tsung or Quan Chi will die because it says, “…to take it all”.
Also I can help but fuel the fire by saying that Shao Kahn could be the one they are talking about. It’s sort-of obvious that Kahn didn’t die in the MKDA intro. So after this brutal attack he suffered from Tsung and Chi, could he have been forced to hide in the shadows. I would think so. This would also explain the return of the yet unconfirmed Ermac, who we all know was created by Kahn to fight for him. Plus his goal has always been to rule all realms, mainly earth realm. And if MK6 will be going back to it’s roots then it’s obvious what I’m going to say next.
I have more theories and analysis but I want to get your input on the whole issue.
