I almost always use Quan Chi's and Cyrax's second costume.
Kung lao's second costume is better. I always use subzero's second costume. I usually use kenshi's, and Bo Rai Cho's first costumes.

Yeah klassic is kool. I use the second outfit for Sub, Kano, Reptile, Shang Tsung, Quan Chi.
If you use Kano vs. Kano and both have the second kostume one of them will get the MK3 outfit. Except that Kano still has hair.

whewneva i'm lie me,sub-zero,and scorp I use there 2ed and for the rest I use the first one,and the main reason I use lie me's second is cause she looks hot and I loved to see a hot girl kiking every1's ass's

for the alternate costumes i use Sub-Zero, Mavado, Frost (sometimes), Nitara, Li-Mei, Scorpion (sometimes), and Raiden i hated Jax's alternate costume, it was the worst

I use nitara sonya reptile alternate costumes
and I use frost alternate costumes I hate her face that look very bad.

I always use Scorpions 2nd costume...he looks ub3r 1337 with the chains n shit...and thats how he was originaly planned from the start of the MK:DA Campeign.
