yes- I have it- definitely the best MK4 based game- I just wish they had bug cleaned it a little more- the stage music doesnt start and stop properly all the time at a match end if ya do a fatality, it plays the stage tune end after fatality tune instead of the fatality end tune- Im picky about music triggers.

I'd have to play it, but judging from many sources, I'd say it's basically MK4 with a lot of enchancements. I don't know if I really like the DC controller (yeah, I have a DC), though. I'm going to get it soon.
Anyone know where I can find the best prices?

Why I like it, I is MK4 arcade perfect, hads plenty of characters, new endings. And was jsut to fun to play at first. Heh, the Nenther realm stage was wicked.

I must admit I never played MK Gold, but it looks a sure hell lot better than MK4. Is it? I used to have a Dreamcast but I sold it to GameStop.

I never played this game but i love it.Its almost what MK4 should have been.Cyrax,Sektor(!),Mileena,Baraka and Kitana are back!(Don't care about Kung Lao.)
I've got 2 questions about the game,can anyone answer?
1)How gruesome is Sektor's compactor?I've been to gamefaqs and one person said the victim just explode.It wouldn't bother me,but i prefer the victim being crushed.
2)From what i've been hearing,Baraka's impale fatality is very pathetic.Can i know why?

Sektor's compactor is OK. It does make the victim blow up. I like his flamethrower one more. As for Baraka, his impale fatality is really sad. There's no blood at all, and his blades don't even stay inside the victim.  If you want to buy MK Gold, go to www.Amazon.com.
