Post subject: MK Trilogy -- Running on PS2, and having issues. HELP!!!! |

Ok, I understand that the game is listed as not 100 compatible with the PS2, but here is my issue...
The game plays fine but after I beat it with any character, I see the Shao Kahn death animation, and the 'Congratulations' screen, then instead of going to the treasure area, I get a black screen with the music playing in the background...then it freezes.
Has anyone encountered this, or successfully beat the game on a PS2 and got to the treasure area?

i havnt beat it yet  but i have another glitch.
when i die and it says Continue? and it counts down 10-9-8-7 etc. when it reaches zero it frezzes up and i have to restart it. any ideas? n e 1?

i sum glitchs sumtimes it freezes etc. my solution play it on PS thats what I do and its funner actuallly cuz its more an old skool feeling

I had the same gltich, right when i got to khan or right after i beat him it would freeze up. good advice is to just throw it back in the case and let it rest.

I play MKt on PS2, no problems (beat the game a lot of times)
BTW: I hate the E's 1 Vs 3 not Fair! (I only beat them with cyrax: by doing the net trick all the time)

ahhh yes mine was doing the same thing and i went and got the game cleaned at my local *GameCrazy* and my PS2 eye cleaned and it still did it so i just think it was a problem with SOME PS2's
never beat the game though i get to mad when i get creamed by a chic with scorpion!!!
