In an article that i read it said that Sub-zero needs to look different from Scorpion and he needs to look more chinese

Well he is a 'Chinese', which is stated by the storyline, so why should not he look like one?
EDIT : In the movie actually a Mexican actor acted as Both Scorpion and Subzero ( Daniel Pesina I think who was also MK1 Sub,Scorp and Johnny )

I Saw Suz-zero have all the same fighting styles from Mortak Kombat DA
and i saw Scorpion have one of the fighting styles from Mortal Kombat DA
