I'm having difficulty doing the fatalities at the end of each match. I've tried to the point where I now believe its something personal against me 
I've changed the mode to fatality, and tried the sequences fast, slow, every different way you can think of but nothing.
Can anyone give me the diffinitive guaranteed to work way of doing fatalities , plz
Apart from that, its first MK game i've had on PS2 and graphics / gameplay are brilliant, just not used to so many key combos with mainly using PC in past.

I'm pretty sure i'm doing it right.
I've got a list for all the characters.
So for Scorpian, I move away from the opponent, change to fatality mode, then press ' away away down away O' and all they ever do is a feeble little kick or punch out.
Do i need to hold the last arrow button. Do I need to press the arrow buttons fast / slow ? I'm using the D pag not the analogue stick. Also the light is 'on' on the controller. (Whether that makes any difference i'm not sure).
Any other advice ??
Other codes I have are, Sub Zero away, towards, towards, down, X
Kenshi, towards, away, towards, down, X

I know this sounds weird but are you just pushing the buttons hard or having them flow..because for combos you cant just push the buttons you have to have them flow smoothly. I know it sounds weird but its hard to pull off a combo by just smashing the button combination. So just let it flow

I know what you mean by flow, because if you smash the bottons it won't work.

i heard on xbox u gotta be in the fatality stance but i got the ps2 version. and i never have a problem. and i never go into the fatality stance. when ever i do go into it i never am able to pull off a fatality. just stay in the stance that u r in when u finish the fight and then press in the combo such as for reptile Up, Up, Up, Forward, X . and it doesnt matter where u r when u do the fatality. u can be up real close or really far away it dont matter.
so dont go into fatality stance. puch in the combo fast. and u can do it from any distance.
b4 any one starts to disagree with me stfu cuz on the ps2 version thats how it works. i know its not just my disc cuz ive done it the same way on 3 other disc.

I play MK : DA and I never use the fatality stance.....so you don't have to go to fatality stance.
Note: I only use fatality stance when i'm really stuck and can't do the fatality, I can always do scorps fatality without the fatality stance(when ever I put the fatality stance for scorps fatality I can never do it.

ya i never use the fatality stance cuz when i do i never pull off a fatality. i dont think the fatality stance effects any thing really or maybe its a bug in the game and it was suppose to be taht we had to be in it but some thing messed up i dunno. really i dont care cuz whats done is done u know.

Practise makes perfect. I have played MK games since MK1 kame out so I did all of the Fatalaties in MK:DA at first try. MK:DAs Fatalities are easy if you kompare to the ones in MKT where the Run button was used in some of the Fatalities.
