Dude cmon! He's the one that would have supposedly killed Shang Tsung, and become the new champ. Also, where's Kitana? She DID kill Quan Chi and its a fact. I mean, whos gonna take his place? Boon can't just put Kung Lao in one game and not put in the next. You think he'll be the last one confirmed?

 well, kung lao could be in mk6, because in the uncensored trailer scorpion(looks like scorpion) kick a guy in to the spike thing and the guy looks kind of like kung lao.

He could still be in the game. No one knows yet. Not all characters have been confirmed. In my case, I'm just glad Kabal is back. Don't worry, Kung Lao should just be around the corner. And literally too in conquest.

LMAO! Kitana DID NOT kill Quan Chi. Nowhere did it say that in her ending. So thats BS.
Secondly, although a strong possibility Kung Lao's ending was not made official. ENDINDS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN 'WHAT-IF' SITUATIONS.
Honesly it's not looking good for Lao. Which I find weird. It looks much better for Kitana however, simply becasue of her mother, Sindel.
We'll just all have to wait and see.

Sorry, you silly Canadian, but all the MK:DA endings are canon unless contradicted by another character's ending. So unless Boon retcons it, Kung Lao defeated Shang Tsung. Even if his ending WASN'T canon, you might as well assume it was. He is the only logical candidate in MK:DA.

I want Kung Lao and Liu Kang back for MKD. As MKDA had 2 strong villains, MKD should have 2 strong heroes.

In quan Chi's ending he killed Tsung, in Kenshi's ending he killed Tsung, in Lao's ending he killed Tsung... do you want me to go on?

umm.... in lao's ending it doesn't say he won the tournament just that he caught up with tsung, Lei Mei i still belive won the tournament but i do not belive she will be returning, she was the final soul in the dragon king's army.

We know Quan Chi's isn't canon due to John Vogel saying so himself. He has said several times that there is no Liu Kano out there, and that Quan Chi's ending has no real storyline value to it.
If Kenshi's were canon, then it would contradict several other endings (Mavado AND Sonya) and would place him at the forefront of the series. This is not only illogical, but goes against the Vogel. If one ending contradicts two others that agree on the issue, then it is the non-canon ending.
On the other hand, Kung Lao's not only contradicts no one's endings other then these two, but it is supported by Bo Rai Cho's. In addition, all fingers pointed at Lao besides. He trained with Liu kang's former Sensei. He learned an upgraded version of the move Liu had first defeated Shang Tsung with. He had the most history as a hero for the game.

ya im pretty sure its safe to say Shang Tsung, Quan Chi, Kano's ending arent true. cuz they all have things cancleing them out. o and Kenshi's isnt true either due to sonyas ending showing he got sliced and diced by mavado. the rest of the endings i thikn r true cuz the rest make sense if u place them in the right order. for example Hsu Hao is fine in his ending but gets killed by jax in jax's ending. well its easy to tell Hsu Hao's ending takes place b4 jax's and when Hsu Hao is off to kill Shang Tsung he runs into jax. it all just makes perfect sense. also Kitana or any one else did NOT kill Quan Chi. so now i hope u ppl will stop saying that all the endings r "what ifs" cuz all but 4 r true if u just take the lil time to think about it.
o and i almost forgot to say that Kung Lao's chances of returning r very slim. i guess maybe it is possible. but he hasnt been talked about in any magazines or any thing. and really i dont think he needs to be in it any ways. theres a few characters i just want to know what their story will be in deception cuz characters like Nightwolf, Tanya, and Smoke i dont understand y the r in the game. also Kabal i dont know y is in if Mavado isnt in. so far theres no talk about Mavado in the magazines but i just dont see how he could be out of it and Kabal in. also i really dont understand y sub-zero and scorpion r in. im glad they r as always but i have no idea what Subbies story will be in deception. and i dont see y Scorpion is in if Quan Chi isnt in. i just cant wait to see their endings and learn their story in deception so then ill finally know y they r in the roster.

hmmmmm. who would i rather have in? liu kang or kung lao? hmm. well that is really a simple choice u know. i mean how could i pick any thing different. id rather play as him than any one else u know. cuz hes tha shit. but then theres kung lao who i dont really giva shit about. not one of my favs. kiu kang is way better. only thing kung lao has going for him is his odd job hat.
