Lol,Kung Lao was there befor Kang.Kung Lao is an ancester from Lui Kang.He was the Chosen One till Goro killed him 
Raiden brought him back lots of times,wonder why?He sucks,but he's still better than Lui,i'd say

the kung lao thats in mkda wasnt in mk b4 liu kang. kung laos great grand father was and he was killed by goro. raiden has never brought kung lao back to life. he doesnt have the power to do that. only reason y he could do it in mk4 with johnny cage is cuz he was a elder god in mk4 but he isnt any more. im sure if raiden was still able to bring ppl back to life he would of done that with liu kang in mkda. and really y even speak of the kung lao that died like 10,000 years b4 mk1 took place? he doesnt really effect the story at all now. never really did.

check Mortal Kombat 1,it says that Goro is the undeatet champ for 500 years since he killed the shaolin monk Kung Lao.This was the very first game.So don't start about MK4

ok i never played mk4.
also ya so 500 years b4 mk1 took place goro killed a different kung lao than the kung lao in the mk games.

ya thats old news. kabal has been confirmed for a lil while now. and well i guess the news about smoke is still pretty new but every one knows about it. atleast i thought.

 kung lao? are you kidding, he might be in the mk:d game but what a waste of character space....Just kidding he is alright but yeah um I odn't think he is going to come back though.....
BUT KITANA must come back they should have all the female characters from all the games come back...wouldn't that be kewl y'all.
and the last unlockable character probably will be LUI KANG sadly  I don't like him but they MOST likely will have ihm in the game as a ZOMBIE or something and yeah how depressing I know but ...that might be the last character him or SHEEVA hahaahhah SHEEVA what a joke but it'll be kewl; if she was in it even though I don't pick her in any other MK game except when I die wit all the other WOMAN hahahahaha.

FANS, he does; who would like him...I hate him he always has to win all the freaken time specially in the movies....DANG he is not all that great let someone else win, I wouold be perfectly fine if he didn't come back in MK:D because I hated him he is STUPID......but he'll be in there probably 99% chance but woo hoo.......................not really
