Hi treefrog, welcome to the boards!
I believe you asked "Whats a Noob Saibot". Everyone here knows who he is. Noob Saibot is a ninja warrior who first made his playable debut in MKT.
He is a shadow specter who is nothing but fully black, as in a shadow.
According to MK History, Noob used to be a member of the Lin Kuei and went by the name of "Shade" until he got killed. His death was really interesting.
The Lin Kuei master magically forced Noob's own shadow to coat his body in blackness. Noob died, but got ressurected and his true self his trapped underneath the black shadows which blanket his body.
Noob Saibot served Shao Kahn and became a member of his armies.
But due to Kahn's "death", he later served Shinnok.
When Shinnok died at the hands of Earth's warriors, Noob Saibot returns to his warrior clan, "The Brothers Of The Shadow".
His mission is to spy on the battle between the Earth-realm and evil and report back to his clan.
For now, Noob is active and still a member of his clan.
Will he return to MK:DA?
Noob Saibot was included in the game as a sort of joke.
The creators, Ed Boon and John Tobias reversed their last names and made the name Noob Saibot.

Wow, where did you learn all that? In the games it just says he's from the Netherealm and stuff, I don't remember anything about the Lin Kuei.

It says that Noob was born in The Netherealm, but infact after his death he was bannished to The Netherealm. Shao Kahn brang him back.
So he was actually born on Earth before his sentence to The Netherealm.
He was a member of The Lin Kuei and he was a nocturnal recluse.
Thats why his former name was Shade.
As for learning this information, I found it somewhere on the web (forgot where now), and I also have a pretty good general knowledge on Mortal Kombat.
(I'm not bragging).

Well, three of my best characters (Cage, Kitana, Kano) have made it so I'll be using them. Most of the new characters look cool too, so hopefully I'll find some favourites there.
Oh and fuzzykila, Coerver said that MKT was Noobs PLAYABLE debut. You couldn't be him before then (except maybe in UMK3).

Well i'll probly use the new charaters fist starting with Frost (She intriges me) Then i'll use the others starting with Sub-Zero then Scorpion and the others but i'm gonna master em all or at least try. So i'll be able to kick anyones ass no matter who i use.
