He's dark skinned but has scorpion's facial features/mask and sword. What do you guys make of this?

It's Scorpion. Just compare the pic with the screenshots from the TMK news.
I should really get that issue. It comes with a Sub-Zero cardboard figure. A SUB-ZERO CARDBOARD FIGURE!!

But what's with the dark skin? I want Noob Saibot to be unique 
Edit:actually that might be white skin since the greyish costume plays off the colors...

well that costume is a different than the costume ive seen for scorpy in deception. so maybe thats scorpys alt. i know it isnt noob cuz ive seen both his costumes. so ya for sure its scorpy

hhahahaha. well the german mag there was a lil bit ago said yes he is but had a question mark by him. well i know some one who has a source , so hes like my source (wont reveal who it is so dont ask), and i asked him about Sektor. he said yes he will be playable in deception. but he does not know if he will be on the select screen or a secret character. my guess is that he will be a secret character. but he also told me that Sektor will be a BIG part in the deception story. how? im not sure. but count on sektor being playable in deception.  i dont think Boon or any one will say that he will be playable cuz i strongly think he will be a secret char and i dont think they wil reveal who the secret chars r. but atleast i got a source huh

Check out this high res scan of that render. You can now definitely see that he has dark skin! (look at his hands)

you can now see his spear in the right corner.
but I have no idee why he's so dark in this render.
