Lightning flashes, thunder blasts, fire burns the grass all around. Liu Kang battles furiously with the Dragon King. Liu has just recently been resurrected to his body. The Dragon King is willing to kill to control Earthrealm. Raiden has been killed, along with Johnny Cage. Liu is in this one by himself. The Dragon King has Baraka, Quan Chi, and the god of the shadows,Dekan, fighting along side him. Liu has been beat down stabbed, cut , and is still fighting with all of his heart. Hours pass as the battle thrives. The Dragon King unleashes all his might in a punch that should cause the death Earthrealm's greatest warrior of all time. Little did the Dragon King know, Liu had discovered how to directly tap his source of power. As th mighty punch comes towards Liu, he jumps into the fire that surrounds them. After three minutes Liu walks out of the blaze, on fire! Liu has become the protector of the gates of hell. Legend tells of a great warrior who is undefetable, that is in charge of making sure no one excapes form hell, and to make sure all the belong in hell are sent. With his new powers Liu is immortal. Baraka tries to quickly impale Liu, but he simply knocks him aside, burning his blades and his flesh to ashes. Dekan flashes through the shadows encircling Liu, leaving him no excape. With a quick wave of his hand Dekan is drove in to the ground, all the way to hell. Quan Chi run rapadly towards Liu, hoping to at least bring him down. But liu simply places his hand on Quan Chi's chest causeing him to explode in a ball of fire. The Dragon King is stunned, wondering how to kill this amazing fighter. Summining all of his strength the Dragon King Begans to grow in size. Lui hurriedly runs at the Dragon King, leaping into the air at the same time the Dragon King releashes a stream of lava from his mouth. Liu suddenlu begins to spins, cutting through to lava with his feet. As he hits the Dragon King he starts to preform his Hell Spawn Hurricane Kick attack. Liu becomes a human shaped object of fire, and kicks the Dragon King repettedly in the chest. Liu then shoots directly into the Dragon Kings body, then exits with unmeasured power. The Dragon King falls to his knees while burning away. Liu is returned to his normal body. Reptile climbs from the flames, now released from the spirit of the Dragon King he is on the side of Earthrealm. Mortal kombat has finally been won for good!
